Early Life and Education

Thimna L’homme was born to a North African mother and a Dominican/French father and describes herself as an “international child,” shaped by a blend of diverse cultural influences. Raised on the island of Saint Martin — shared between French and Dutch territories — she completed both her primary and secondary education there, growing up within a multicultural environment that fostered adaptability and cross-cultural awareness.

Initially drawn to the medical field, Thimna pursued studies with the intention of becoming a midwife, motivated by her natural affinity for biology and her desire to care for women and children. However, following practical exposure during an internship in elderly care facilities, she reassessed her direction and chose to pursue a long-standing passion in beauty and wellness. She enrolled in a professional beautician program, completing four years of formal training and earning her qualification.

Though her educational path evolved over time, it instilled in her a strong foundation in discipline, client care, and attention to detail. She often credits a former mathematics teacher for nurturing her analytical thinking — a skill she now applies in operational management and business problem-solving.

Career

Thimna’s professional journey began early. Raised in a single-parent household, she developed independence and resilience at a young age. Rather than spending school holidays at leisure, she worked in a bakery from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM — an experience that instilled discipline, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

After completing her professional training, her career expanded beyond beauty and wellness into the hospitality and business sectors. She gained valuable experience working within a five-star hotel and restaurant operation in Georgia (USA), where she was exposed to structured systems, service precision, and high operational standards. This experience proved instrumental in shaping her approach to process discipline and customer experience management.

Today, she serves as Director and Head of Operations at L’Homme Business Heritage Group Inc., overseeing the management and coordination of the Group’s hospitality units. Her leadership emphasizes operational efficiency, service excellence, team coordination, and continuous improvement. Known for her humility and empathy, she balances structured management with a people-centered approach.

Personal Life and Leadership Perspective

Thimna is the mother of two children — a son and a daughter — both born in the United States and holding dual French and American citizenship. She balances her professional responsibilities with family life, viewing both as integral components of her leadership philosophy.

Fluent in French and English, and shaped by North African, Dominican, and European cultural influences, she brings a global perspective to local enterprise. Her multicultural upbringing enhances her ability to navigate diverse teams, customer bases, and operational environments.
