LBHG POST-SEASON LINKUP

November 8th, 2024

As the curtains close on another vibrant festival season, the L’Homme Business Heritage Group (LBHG) hosted its much-anticipated Post Season Linkup on November 8th, 2024, bringing together staff and executives to reflect on the outcomes of the festival season and strategize for the future. While the season saw many accomplishments, it also highlighted areas requiring growth, as the organization fell short of meeting its festival targets.

The event began with a brief but heartfelt prayer led by the Marketing Assistant, followed by warm welcome remarks from the Head of Operations (HOO). These opening moments set a positive tone for the gathering, emphasizing gratitude and unity. The HOO then officially introduced the five selected shift leaders on behalf of the Executive Committee, highlighting their pivotal roles in ensuring the seamless execution of the festival season, as well as their future responsibilities as shift leaders going onward.

Following was a speech from one of the shift leaders, who delivered an inspiring message about the teamwork and dedication that fuels the festival’s success, as well as her appreciation for being selected for this role. Her words resonated with the audience, capturing the spirit of collaboration that defines LBHG.

The program continued with a much anticipated, in-depth targeted post-season analysis of the festival targets by the Accounts Officer, who revisited the goals set for the season and shared the accomplishments achieved. While the goals set for the season were ambitious, the results showed a need for stronger strategies and improved execution in key areas. During this analysis the HOO noted an observation that, although the year 2024 saw an increase in food sales, the previous year had a higher number of visitors to the island, creating a different overall dynamic. This observation highlighted the need for stronger strategies and improved execution in key areas, offering valuable context for understanding this year’s challenges and opportunities. This was followed by a comprehensive post-season analysis from the HR team, which outlined both achievements and areas for growth, offering insights to guide future planning.

Adding a cultural flair to the event, the HR team also presented the “Mr. & Mrs. Creole” segment, celebrating the vibrant heritage that contributed to the festival’s unique charm. The ceremony continued with the awarding of certificates to the best-performing employees, recognizing their hard work and dedication throughout the season.

Mr. Serge L’Homme, the CEO, delivered a powerful speech, reflecting on the achievements of the past season and sharing his vision for the future of LBHG. His remarks motivated the team to aim higher and continue building on the company’s legacy. The event concluded with closing remarks from Acting COO, who emphasized the importance of teamwork and innovation as LBHG moves forward.

The Post Festival Linkup was a moment of both celebration and reflection, providing a platform to learn from the past and build toward a brighter future. With lessons learned and renewed determination, LBHG is ready to take on new challenges and achieve its goals.
