With more time for each table, I got to see the little details that make a guest’s experience memorable—extra care with each drink, casual conversation, and personal touches that aren’t always possible during a rush. This slower night highlighted the essence of our service—creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that embodies the Hi-Rise vibe

Throughout the night, my fellow staff and I enjoyed each other’s company, sharing laughs and stories between serving. This quiet shift allowed me to see the beauty in the quieter moments of service, reinforcing the idea that even during slow times, every interaction matters. Working at Hi-Rise isn’t just about fast-paced service; it’s about creating lasting connections, no matter the crowd size.

I appreciated my short time as being part of the floor staff as it fostered teamwork and enhanced my ability to collaborate across departments, which is essential in marketing projects. It also allowed me to gain firsthand experience in how our brand is represented on the floor, allowing me to align my marketing efforts with the actual guest experience. As well as insight into the operational side of the business will assist me in the development of more practical and realistic marketing campaigns that consider logistical constraints.
